I play in the overlapping spaces of design, art, and community. I approach all my work as an exercise in storytelling, and researching things beyond their physical or temporal bounds. Collaboration and collective making enrich the self and are centred in my work. Play is the heart of my practice – an endeavour toward seeing with a child’s eye, tracing lines and living inside them.

My practice encompasses curation, archiving, movement, participatory art, education and alternative pedagogy.

‘1, 2, 3 — (하나, 둘, 셋 / egy, kettő, három)’ /2023
With guest artist Jiyoon Lee, we developed a workshop investigating the relationship between body, language, and rhythm. The session explored the universal language of gestures and sounds through rhythmic exercises, performance art, and traditional dance techniques. Hosted at the Gallery of Modern Art, curated by the GoMA Youth Group /@goma.yg

‘A Room of One’s Own: What can a room be and become?’ /2023
A visual-making workshop for Chinese women on home space and transitional objects, female body symbols and personal narratives. Hosted at the New Glasgow Society, curated by Yanni Gai   /@aro_omofonesown

‘a-drift-a-shore’ /2022–ongoing
Workshops for people who have experienced migration. The project investigated ways of visual storytelling through the metaphor of a drift seed. Creative writing, sculptural building, and collective map-making reveal individual stories as a form of introspection and healing. The project opened a dialogue on the complexities of migration and diasporic experiences, elevating historically marginalised voices.
